The Audit Staff is GE's premier leadership development organization. Primary objectives of the audit staff include:
  • Developing future business leaders for GE
  • Supporting critical strategic and operational processes
  • Assessing controllership and financial statement integrity
  • Reviewing worldwide compliance with key Company policies

Auditors experience a variety of assignments prior to moving into key leadership roles in the company. Focusing on areas of highest business risk and return, the Audit Staff significantly impacts every area of GE.

Auditors travel 100% of the time to locations around the world, working in large and small teams. Specific reviews vary in size and scope. During this time, auditors are challenged to learn how entire businesses and processes work. They assess risk, perform detailed analysis, develop recommendations, facilitate and implement change and review results with senior management. Auditors gain not only exposure to all aspects of the business, but a thorough understanding of global industries, market dynamics and leadership styles.
